Mr. Scott has 17 years of experience handling complex insurance coverage and related civil cases and claims from inception through mediation, arbitration, trial and appeal in both Federal and State courts. He has tried cases throughout Northern California that have included claims involving breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, declaratory relief, personal injury and real property disputes. Mr. Scott has experience with coverage analyses involving both commercial and personal lines and investigation of suspected fraudulent insurance claims.

Mr. Scott has served as an instructor for several accredited continuing legal education courses on such diverse topics as the use of demonstrative evidence at trial, legal ethics, and compliance with the California insurance claims regulations. In 2006, Mr. Scott was appointed as an arbitrator with the California State Bar Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program. He is licensed to practice in California and Nevada.

Mr. Scott graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987, and from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1990.
